They appear to be cheap knockoffs
The ones I ordered from from "Allergy Be Gone" appear to be cheap knockoffs. The pads not only lack the Bissell tag that's sewn to the seams of the material, but the fabric is thinner which makes it useless for cleaning and doesn't even fit properly on the machine. To make matters worse, after washing these pads, the stuffing they put around the inside of the seams rolled all the way to one side, so now the pads don't rest on the floor evenly.
These pads, also lack the special contoured half-circle cutout on the back side. They end up blocking the rear roller of the machine (that supports the weight of the machine as it sweeps forward, reducing friction). Without the special cutout the machine gets a whole lot heavier to push and also gets slightly elevated off the ground, preventing the pads from making proper contact on the floor.

I love how these clean my laminate floors. They don't leave streaking like other mops do. I haven't yet washed the pad so I don't know how that will work. But I gave it 5 stars for cleaning.
