Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Maker Jars, Set of 8

I like glass ones so much better
Have both these and glass yogurt containers. Give me the glass hands down any time any where. The lids that screw on and off with the glass ones just seem to function better and easier. These may take up a tad less room in your fridge as they are narrower and taller over all but glass seems cleaner and I can't say enough good things about the glass jars. Also I will reach for the kerr or ball 4 ounce regular lid jars when I need an extra yogurt jar or two over these once again. I find the plastic lids on the acrylic jars hard to remove without disturbing the yogurt. Yes I like my yogurt with a firm non stirred up texture. Otherwise it goes into smoothy style drinks and it doesn't matter. Each to their own but glass is my cup of yogurt and choice...these plastic ones now sit down in the dark basement shelf...waiting quietly at least. PS you can get plastic screw on caps for all regular canning jars and also most mayo plastic lids fit them as well. But by all means MAKE YOGURT no matter...

These do NOT fit the Aroma yogurt maker
I'd been waiting for a response from Aroma about how to buy more cups when I saw these. When they arrived, I found that they're very similar to the Aroma design, but a smidgen too wide to fit into the maker. (The up-side is that Aroma is only back-ordered and theirs are $10 for 8, so...)

It looked like these would fit, but no go; These do NOT fit in the Aroma yogurt maker! Still, good products.

I'd prefer glass, but the only real problem with plastic is that it's hard to get the last of the yogurt out of the bottom edges of the cups. I end up using a lot of sprayed water in addition to a bottle sponge.

PS: Aroma did eventually get back to me, and sent me a set of 8 cups for $10 + $5.49 for shipping.

Extra jars are a must!
I received the Donvier Yogurt Maker as a gift. Having extra jars on hand allows me to make another batch of yogurt while I still have a jar or two in the refrigerator. This way, I never run out!
