Great filter. It needs to be reshaped after being in packaging so give it a day or two before filling up and turning your humidifier on.
I use my humidifier daily, so between 2-3 months it needs to be replaced because pink or dark blue mold will appear and that's really unhealthy to breathe in for you, children, and pets.
Working as intended
Replaced my filter for Honeywell HCM-890LWS, works just fine. Package came with the filter flat; you will need to unfold before putting into humidifier (try sticking a cup in the middle and let it sit for a day or two if you want it to stretch first - but not required). I'll order more when needed.
I gave this to my daughter as a gift
This is one of the more unusual gifts one of my children has requested. She has owned the humidifier for a number of years and was out of filters. This filter matches the specs on her humidifier. What's not to like?
