It was easy to install,Took a few seconds. Impresively fast shipping! Very happy with that aspect cause i got to put the ice machine back together quicker and this was one of the parts i was replacing.
Identical replacement for a poorly designed part
Identical replacement for the original and the ice chute no longer stays jammed open. I wish the design were more robust but this fills in for one that broke after about 5 years.
Not as clear as original but works fine
Original guide lasted from 2007 to 2013; this replacement was identical in shape but not as clear
A visit to YouTube helped me figure out how to get it to clip-in. I had to take off the fascia, unplug the light, and unscrew the panel that was blocking my view. Then, it was easy. The whole thing only took a minute to complete, once I figured out the right way to clip that thing into the slot.
5 stars for being able to get a perfectly functional replacement part shipped so easily, but -1 for the opaque color (though it's not something that anyone would notice once it's installed in the fridge).
